I Can Still Recall
Meryl Streep is just phenomenal in this. Period. Although technology wasn't that advanced when Abba first recorded this, but i still think Meryl did a better job in this than Abba. With all due respect, i think Abba is one of the greatest band alive but Meryl nailed this. So much of feelings and emotion! Like i could just rip my heart out! I could cry all day listening to this. Seriously. A bit of a pitch problems here and there (Randy's style) but nonetheless, a great great great job indeed!
I always say a man who knows how to play the guitar can get any girl he wants. Yes, including me. Colin Firth is smokin hot in this! Damn man. Despite the sad fact that they had to turn him gay in the end (which i was pretty pissed at), i still think he's one of the hottest British actor there is. Pierce Brosnan sucks at singing but I have to say he looks pretty good in this too. Stellan, my octopus or whatever creature he is in Pirates of Caribbean, im sorry he's such a bad singer. Maybe i just can't get his face as the octopus man off my mind. LOL
My all time FAVOURITE Abba song. Period. This is the song that made me want to dance and shake my booty so badly in the theatres. No joke. =D
Mamma mia...Here I Go Again!

Down Memory Lane
She bought me my first piano then. I still remember that it was brown and Yamaha of course (my all-time favourite brand). In fact, i attended 2 music classes. One was Yamaha-based, the other was ABRSM. I like how the Yamaha music course would always encourage the freedom of expression in our music, how they'd train us in improvisation skills, transposition, hearing, sight reading and singing but because i'm not a perfect pitch person, my teacher Jasmin could never stop yelling at me LOL And how we'd always get to perform on stages for numerous, various occassions! AB on the other hand, it's good in honing one's playing skills. I hate the scales! All the gruelling practices and finger-aching sessions..oh those insufferable moments!
Then i remember my very first Electone Festival. None, including ourselves, in our wildest dreams, would ever think that we could actually make it. And we did. We did!
We called ourselves CML then cause we were a bunch of idiots who couldn't come up with a better name for our group, other than putting our intials together. Yeah, shoot us.Then, came Senzation. We didn't win (damn pissed off with all the internal politics) but it was another one of those really great times i'd remember forever. Somebody once said "it isn't about what you get at the end, but it's the journey that you take to get there which is all that really matters".
Finally, my last group Le Fort Vague. Maybe it was our choice of song this time. Sigh. Then again, one can never get enough of music in their life. Nonetheless, i love and miss every single bit of it. From all the practices, to perfecting every part of the piece, to making sure all is well, to dressing up, to making Yap look non-sluggish LOL (that guy has no sense of fashion).
If i had photoshop or something, i would've removed the girl in green. Hate her. We all do. Pink panther. My point is, I seem to have forgotten how much music means to me and that insane passion that i used to have everytime i played my piano. I seem to be so caught up with everything else like school work, to catching up with my latest drama. And because i'm now away from home, it only means that i have to for go my music lessons and even ballet, the two things that i really love doing. It also means less time for practice, in fact no time at all. Mum bought me a Clavi in KL and of course, i'm absolutely grateful and glad and happy and ecstatic and all nuts about it. The thing is everytime i play, i just feel that sudden emptiness within, like there's something missing. I didn't know what that was until i read what huifang said. That we're only playing the piano because we were afraid we'd forget how to play them. We'd forget how to run our fingers up and down the keyboard, we'd forget what C major sounds like, we'd forget how to do an arpeggios, we'd forget how to sight read, we'd forget how to do a thrill, we'd forget what pianoforte is and we'd even forget how a piano would sound. It is sad, but true. I'm merely playing it for the sake of it. There's no feelings in it, there's no purpose in it, and it lacks that will to improve on each piece. I guess now i know what that missing piece is. Don't get me wrong. I still love my black piano a lot. And i love all the pieces of score sheets that i have.
Reading huifang's blog and i saw that picture of us on the keyboards at EF (although it was a hideous pic of me) and watching Camp Rock made me realize how much i miss it and how much it means to me. It was my best friend throughout my early years and it still is now. Just that maybe i misplaced this best friend of mine at the corner of my cupboard but i found it now =)
And as for ballet, i'm still searching for the answer to my question. Maybe it was never meant to happen. Maybe it wasn't my calling no matter how much i loved it. I still do.
Miss wearing my pointe shoe, my soft pointes, my leotard, and everything in between. The only thing i wouldn't miss is doing pirouettes. Hate it. Time and tide waits for no man. Time traveling seems impossible. Maybe soon. If only someone had invented a time machine. Wouldn't it be great for all of us?

Cos You Had A Bad Day
Wish tomorrow would be a better one.
Btw, "Incredible Hulk" is really good. Amazingly good. But I wished Eric Bana had continued playing Bruce Banner. More masculine. Edward Norton's a bit...skinny? LOL

Mamma Mia Camp Rock!

Ok I am planning to stop blabbing about Camp Rock and The Jonas Brothers after this post. I promise.Watched it last night! Whooohooo =D A quick review. *Spoiler Ahead*
I thought the plot could've been a little bit better. I felt some of the scenes didn't really connect. Like how Tess found out that Mitchie is the girl Shane's looking for and how she stole her song book and the audience would naturally think that Tess would be doing the song "This Is Me" for Final Jam, stealing Mitchie's limelight. But it didn't happen so. And then, there were some other missing pieces here and there.
Overall, it was ok. Demi Lovato is such a breath of fresh air. She just has this very infectious smile. A big, wide smile =) And if it wasn't for the fact that the JBs and Demi are the main cast, I think I would seriously consider watching it at all. Stop. You don't even have to ask if Joe is hot. YES HE IS.
In fact, I think HSM set the benchmark for all the Disney Channel Original Movies. It is THE epitome, you know. Like how I remember all the songs from HSM cos they're so good. Everyone of it. HSM 2 should have a switch in title, to like "Troy and Gabriella's Moment" or something. Seriously. I like "Gotta Find You", "This Is Me", "Here I Am" and "Play My Music" in Camp Rock =D cos they were the only ones that sounded good anyway. LOL
I watched Mamma Mia too! Loved it loved it loved it ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!
Meryl Streep can really sing. Amanda Seyfried is so gorgeous. Julie Walters is such fun to watch. Colin Firth is so freakin' hot with his guitar. Pierce Brosnan CANNOT sing. Stellan Skarsgard is bad (I dont know why but he reminds me of the octopus guy in Pirates of the Caribbean).
It is good. So good. Period. Watch it yourself. I'm tired of typing and figuring the words to describing how much I loved it.

Jonas Frenziieee!!
"When You Look Me In The Eye", in my opinion, is currently the best song from the Jonas Brothers. I didn't quite understand the whole JB frenzy that hit the world since their debut single. I think they're really talented, they write really good songs and that they're really fashion forward but I just wasn't so into them yet. Maybe I was looking, but I wasn't seeing, you know?
But I have to tell you this. Mich and I so totally agree that Nick Jonas is hot. Like REALLY HOT. There's just something about him. And then, if you've catched a glimpse or seen Joe Jonas in Camp Rock, the scene with Demi Lovato "I Gotta Find You", you have to be crazy if you don't think Joe is drop dead gorgeous. I mean seriously. Plus, that song - it is just amazing. I could just listen to it over and over again on my player, on my mp3. Again and again. It REALLY is that good. And it just makes me wanna watch Camp Rock so badly! =(
Joe Jonas

Nick Jonas

Yeah, I'd like to have a guy that plays the guitar too. Sigh.
Jonas Brothers rock! =D

A crush and a Love Story

Verse 1
I hung up the phone tonight,
something happened for the first time,
deep inside it was a rush, what a rush,
Cause the possibility that you would ever feel the same away about me,
it’s just too much, just too much
Why do I keep running from the truth, all I ever think about is you
You got me hypnotized, so mesmerized, and I just got to know
Chorus
Do you ever think, when you’re all alone,
all that we can be, where this thing can go,
Am I crazy or falling in love, is it real or just another crush
Do you catch a breath, when I look at you, are you holding back, like the way I do,
Cause I’m tryin’, tryin’ to walk away
But I know this crush aint’ goin’ away, goin’ away
Verse 2
Has it ever cross your mind when we’re hangin’, spending time girl,
are we just friends, is there more, is there more,
See it’s a chance we’ve gotta take, cause I believe that we can make this into something that will last,
last forever, forever
Bridge
Why do I keep running from the truth, all I ever think about is you
You got me hypnotized, so mesmerized, and I just got to know
Chorus
Do you ever think, when you’re all alone,
all that we can be, where this thing can go,
Am I crazy or falling in love, is it real or just another crush
Do you catch a breath, when I look at you, are you holding back, like the way I do,
Cause I’m tryin’, tryin’ to walk away
But I know this crush aint’ goin’ away, goin’ away

This song is absurdly infectious!

I close my eyes and the flashback starts:
I'm standing there on a balcony in summer air.
See the lights, see the party, the ball gowns.
See you make your way through the crowd and say hello;
Little did I know That you were Romeo; you were throwing pebbles,
And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet."
And I was crying on the staircase,
begging you, 'Please, don't go.'"
And I said, "Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone.
I'll be waiting; all there's left to do is run.
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story - baby just say 'Yes.'"
So I sneak out to the garden to see you.
We keep quiet 'cause we're dead if they knew.
So close your eyes; escape this town for a little while.
'Cause you were Romeo, I was a scarlet letter,
And my daddy said "Stay away from Juliet,"
But you were everything to me;
I was begging you, 'Please, don't go,'"
And I said, "Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone.
I'll be waiting; all there's left to do is run.
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story - baby just say 'Yes.'
Romeo save me - they're tryin' to tell me how to feel;
This love is difficult, but it's real.
Don't be afraid; we'll make it out of this mess.
It's a life story - baby just say "Yes.'"
Oh. I got tired of waiting, Wondering if you were ever comin' around.
My faith in you was fading
When I met you on the outskirts of town,
And I said, "Romeo save me - I've been feeling so alone.
I keep waiting for you but you never come.
Is this in my head? I don't know what to think-"
He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said,
"Marry me, Juliet - you'll never have to be alone.
I love you and that's all I really know.
I talked to your dad - go pick out a white dress;
It's a love story - baby just say 'Yes.'"
Oh, oh. We were both young when I first saw you...

Too Hot To Be True!
Anyways, all we did there was clerk the orthopedic patients, present it to the doctor (in our case, we had Mr.Chan) and get ourselves completely and utterly exhausted after all of it. And since we had such limited time to prepare our case (ok, maybe our history taking skills still suck), Mr Chan commented on a few things lah. A bit strict, but nonetheless, he's nice.
A little drama at the end to add some spice LOL (thanks to the heat stroke idiot). Met Cheng Ling there =) Didn't meet Fen =( BOOhooo! Saw some really cute docs (HAHA afterall, that was what me and Surin were looking forward to for this trip lol). Can never really get what Cho said to me out of my damn skull. He said "you know my senior said, if medic girls don't get a guy by the 4th or 5th year, then gone lah". ..........................................Ok, a bit of pressure there. But I'm gonna shake it off. =D LOL
Came back completely lifeless. Had to read my stupid CSU. It turned out to be quite fun actually today. No stress. Dr. Jac, what do you expect? =)
Last week's notes and this week's are piling up. Time never flew this fast before. And I've never been so short of time in my entire 4 sems here. It just had to be my final sem, with a final exam at the end of it. GREAT.

Still waiting..
It seems people are pretty excited over this whole transition thing. The first thing we spoke about this morning in PBL was "wahh..it's today lehh..don't know got or not" LOL
Joon Heng came in and his first word was "reformasi!"
Kar asked me "so how? scared or not?"
Yilin said "wahh if got riot then they send us all home. good lor! can go home" LOL
Anyways, I think I'd like to think that that day, reformasi day will come. Just not yet. Soon.
We're all waiting.

The Return of The Boybands
Let's see. The Beatles were one of the biggest hit back when I hadn't exist. I'd have to say John Lennon is more of a talent that Paul McCartney is. Sorry dude. Or maybe, I'm just too tired of the whole drama between McCartney and his stupid wife (you-know-who). Ex-wife, to be exact. Their songs surpass all age, all barriers and they're a joy to listen to. "Imagine" and "Let It Be". Definitely my all-time Beatles favourite =)
And then, here comes Take That. Never really a big fan of them. Gary Barlow was the only one worth watching anyways. Robbie Williams...err no comments. Then, the ghastly news of them breaking up, with Robbie leaving. Boy, were the girls in tears. I was only less than 10 years of age? What could I have done? My hormones weren't at a rise yet! LOL However, they did have some pretty good songs to boot as well. "Back For Good" was definitely my kind of hit. Good job to Robbie Williams though. Leaving the group proved to be a massive change in his life. =D
The age of boybands didn't just stop there. There were more. More, more and more that I couldn't possibly list them all here. (Spice Girls is a girl band lah, you idiot). LOL
OOOhhh..Boyzone. Definitely one of my favourites back in the 90's. The news of Stephen being gay was terrible. However, it was Ronan Keating that we were all interested in. In fact, he and Stephen were the only ones singing. And after Stephen became infamous with his gay news, Ronan seems to be the leading frontman. Teehee! I really liked "No Matter What" and "Love Me For a Reason" although it wasn't originally sung by them but the fact that I heard it first from them made all the difference =) Again, the frontman had to fly solo. He did it well I must say. But here they are, back with a blast again! With "Love You Anyway" (found this from papa) HEe!
Here's another boyband I ain't that familiar with. New Kids On The Block. Heard of them back when I was a toddler. Never heard their old songs at all. Even if I did, I wouldn't know anyways. Joey McIntyre went solo and delivered "Stay The Same" and that was all that was ever worth hearing from him. At least, to me. I guess people never get tired of come-back-boybands. So they released their new single "Summertime". Not exactly all hyped up about that song lah. It's just OKKK...Plus none of them appeal to me. Sadly.
This next group, all famous, all cool and all well-known. Need I say more. Backstreet Boys. Cat's a huge fan of them. I'm not. I always thought they were a threat and rival to my all time favourite boyband which I'd definitely be discussing later here. If you know me well enough, you'd know what I'm referring to right away. This whole frenzy over BSB, I never really understood it. Nick Carter was the only cute one. But ever since he dated Britney, blah, all down the drain. Plus, he's such a spoilt rich kid. Go watch "The Carters" or "The Carter's house" or whatever that was aired on E! some time ago. I couldn't be bothered anyways. Brian Litrell was the only person to look up to really. But I have to say, a lot of their songs are really good.
"I don't care who you are, where you're from, what you did, as long as you love me"
"Everybody yeah...yeahhhhhh...Rock your body yeah..YEahhh" LOL
And of course, there's a whole list of their newest songs. And since I'm not a huge fan, I'll leave it to rest here. Hee!
Ahhh..my all-time favourite. The love of my life. The king of my heart. The MEN of my dreams. With an autobiography to be proud of. My true inspiration. WESTLIFE. I can never, ever, ever, forget them. NEVER. From Shane, to Kian, Nicky, Bryan and Mark, I love them all. Despite being gay, I still love you Mark. I remember all their full names (trust me, they're LONG), I remember their birth dates. I remember which city they come from. I remember how it all happened. Phew. I fell in love with them almost instantly the first time I heard "Swear It Again" and there were only good things to come after that. I don't care if they did covers. I don't care that people think their version of the covers sound bad. I don't care if "You Raise Me Up" can never beat Josh Groban's. I don't care if people think that Shane and Mark are the only two who can sing well because I think that Bryan, Kian and Nicky they're all unique in their own way. I cried when Bryan left. I did. But hey, his new song is pretty good. Go check it out, "Like Only a Woman Can".
After so much of covers, here they are once again. Back, and better than ever before. With a new album, much anticipated one that is. "Home". All of it my favourite. Definitely. I grew up with them. I got through some of my darkest days with them. They've been such an inspiration to me whenever I needed strength. 10 years with Westlife. That's a long time. But there's definitely a lot more to come. Here's "Something Right", loved it to bits. I hope you enjoy them as I much as I do.
Tell me that isn't good and I'd kick your ass. By the way, this post is inspired by papa, Cmei, after reading her Boyzone post LOL. Now that's a huge Ronan and Boyzone fan, people! =D Who says boybands are lousy? You got it all wrong, hun.
WESTLIFE RULES!
Happy Mooncake Festival!
Happy mooncake festival everyone!
My first "pat yuet sap mm" (sorry for the bad pinyin) away from home. Sigh. Plus, today's my uncle's wedding day. BOOhooo..No ang paus for me. No goodie food for me too. Anyways, I suppose my plan, engineered by Sooi (LOL) might just work out tonight. =)
Ever wondered what the Mid-Autumn Festival was all about? Read it only if you're extremely bored to death. Hee..I find it pretty interesting too. You know, the typical Chinese myths and legends. Aha =D
Moon-walking Goddess
A popular Chinese myth related to the Mooncake Festival involves the immortal Chang Er who lives on the moon. She was very beautiful and people celebrate her beauty during the mooncake festival, when the moon is at its brightest and roundest - on the 15th of eight lunar month.
Once upon a time in China, ten suns appeared in the sky and this was causing much grief to the people. Crops were withering, rivers were drying up and people were dying from the heat. This catastrophe forced the emperor to summon Hou Yi, a mythological archer to shoot down the suns in return for an immortal elixir. He wanted to shoot down all the suns but his wife, Chang Er begged him to leave one up in the sky for warmth and light. As Hou Yi was about to go against his wife's wishes, his wife grabbed the immortal elixir and drank it as a form of protest immediately after, Chang Er began floating higher and higher until she reached the moon and stayed there.
Moonlit Uprising
In the 14th century, the Han Chinese overthrew the Mongols in a carefully planned uprising. The success of this uprising lies in these little mooncakes. Small pastries with a secret message outlining the plan was hidden inside the pastries and distributed. Lantern wielding rebels distributed the pastries at night in a well disguised wedding celebration. As outlined in the secret message, the Han Chinese executed a surprise attack on the Mongols.
The full moon on the Mid Autumn Festival shone brightly on the pathways to guide the rebels through the maze of the palace. Since then, mooncakes and lanterns are used each year to honor the new dynasty and the auspiscious moon.
Hee..I love mooncakes. A lot. But dang, they're pretty expensive now. But oh! they come in such a variety of flavours these days and shapes too! I remember Nicole gave me a jelly mooncake last year made by Dave's mum. Loved it to bits =) I do like the old flavours too though. Very evergreen. LOL

A Half-Filled Glass
Classes started a week ago. We're already in our second week currently. Tell me about being in Sem 5. Busy, busy, busy. EVERYDAY. It's like this never-ending cycle! It isn't exactly fun being a senior here in phase 1. What the hell. Plus, it was just after an absolutely wonderful break back at home where all I did was watch tv, hangout, eat and spend time with my mum and dad. Everything came crashing down at the end of it and as weak as I am (I'd rather not like to think of myself so, but I suppose it is a fact), I just failed to comprehend the madness of this life again. I was so depressed the whole week through. Things didn't exactly work out the way I wanted them to. Pressures mounting, escalating. I need to try to start studying already. The whole stack of it right on my shoulders. Effin' IMS (wtf), pbls etc etc. I totally broke down and wondered why the hell did I even choose medicine in the first place.
Talked to Sooi bout it. And she said so much that I picked myself up little by little, and now, I feel so much better. Thanks sooi. I guess I'm not the only one.
Cho came down on Wednesday with Sieu Ming. Absolutely great catching up with them. Only once a year mah, what do you expect. LOL
And here, I need to congratulate the guy that forgot my birthday *roll eyes* Kar How, for finally graduating soon, and for making it into PWC (the big 4 or 8 or whatever. I know it's 4, Kar). I don't know why I'm much more excited about all this than you are. Seriously. A bit ungrateful lah you. Tsk.
Anyways, I am definitely holding on. I don't suppose quitting and giving up is an option now that it's halved. I just need to keep this positive, optimistic mind in mind. However, I really do think that I have a bipolar disorder. Seriously.

Thank You
And I remembered.
Those were some really great times.
I never had the chance to say this.
Thank you.
For allowing me to believe that dreams, they actually do come true.
Just maybe, it was a dream too late.
And I'm sorry I did what I did to you.
Then again, I'm glad we are how we are now.
Two different people.
ps: I got a little emo because I hate the fact that time has to go by that swiftly. I absolutely do not wish to go back. 1 more day.

All Over Again
My ex-boyfriend just happens to be......Sailormoon!!!
LOL
I really have to thank Kelly for lending me her Sailormoon DVDs. Although it wasn't the exact full collection that I was hoping to get, but she had the 5th, final season, Sailorstars. I have not seen the final season before because it was never aired on tv, and I doubt it would ever be aired again because Sailormoon (it seems) is history, lame and only meant for girls. I understand its a shojo anime but even girls like shonen animes! GRrrrr... Is there any justice in the world? Sigh. And then I spent my whole week watching and watching, and downloading their songs. Oh my god, it is so good. I'm sorry I shan't (ever, I think) find another who shares the same passion for Sailormoon as much as I do, other than Kelly. LOL. And I'm glad that despite the fact we're both already in our 20s, Sailormoon is still hot in our socks babe! =D
Anyone, anyone please please please. If you ever happen to see a Sailormoon DVD on sale by the road, in pasar malams, in vcds and dvds shops, call me! Then get it for me! I'll pay you back! I promise :X eheehe..ok i'll pay you back. Original ones are easy to get. It's the pirated ones I'm after. Shoot me. They're really expensive ok, the original ones. Damn!
Naoko Takeuchi started writing them in 1992. The first BM translation reached Malaysian shores in 1996. Come to think of it, I don't quite remember how I was introduced to it. Gasp. I know, it is just destiny that we both met. LOL. Picked up my first book when I was in standard 5, which means it was year 1998 (if my calculations are right). Then tv3 was airing Sailormoon every Saturday morning, and I would take the time to tape them up (it used to be VCR LOL). I was such a fan that I even had my mum buy me a Sailormoon bag while we were holidaying in Haatyai * grins *. Plus, while at a mall shopping there, I saw this other really cute Sailormoon bag with a really cool tag of Sailormoon and I just plucked it out. HAHAHAH.. XD I collected all the comic books, I have them all in a row. I kept it from my mum that I used to sneak out of class to the school's bookshop to buy every new Sailormoon colouring book there was and I collected their erasers, stamps, letter sets etc etc. Phew! Now you know where all my money went =)
My favourite character, Sailormoon aka Usagi aka Princess Serenity aka Serena =)
Top row: Diana (cat) and Luna P, Sailorstar Fighter (love him/her!!), Princess Kakyu, Sailorstar Healer, Sailorstar Maker2nd row fr top: Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Uranus, Sailor Pluto
3rd row: Sailor Venus, Sailor Chibi Chibi, Tuxedo Mask!
Bottom 2nd row: Sailor Mars, Moon, Sailor Mercury and Luna (cat)
Last row: Sailor Chibimoon and Sailor Saturn
AHHHHH!!! Love them all!! The Sailormoon frenzy's back!
The End To A Beginning
Anyways, I still think artistic gymnastic was the best, then rhythmic gymnastic, then swimming, then synchronized swimming, then weightlifting (I like hearing them roar LOL), then diving and blah blah. Badminton is last on the list! Total garbage.
I was watching the closing ceremony last night and ahhh!! My David Beckham =) *melts* OOooOo and Lee Hom. Sigh. Plus, I am so looking forward to London's Olympics!

David David David!I realized I haven't quite made a review on another important person yet. Another hearthrobe of mine. =P I don't think I need to say much anyway. An Olympic history. A historic feat. 8 golds. All in one bag. An official website of his own. My personal superhero, with a great bod to boot LOL I present to you,
MICHAEL PHELPS!

Enough said. To London, we go!! =D Counting down the 4 years that is to come. Geeez, I'm a graduate by then already. Scary. Anyway, London!
ps: I had a dream again. Rascal Flatts (another favourite of mine) came to school to perform! I was in front! Then, I couldn't see if it was either Jay, Joe, or Gary who invited me up to perform with them! *gasp*

Extraodinaire!

Today's another spectacular day. Both gold and silver medal of the all-around individual event for the artistic gymnasts went to Nastia (for Anastasia) Liukin and Shawn Johnson (my very own favourite girl!). The bronze went to Yang Yilin of China, again, very proud of her. Liukin just pushed it to the limits for Johnson. And Johnson, despite being the World Champion, had to settle for a silver medal (damn!). Ok, she was really good. If there was one thing I like about her is well of course, her beautiful line, her graciously elegant moves, her exceptionally good technique and definitely, HER LEGS!!! I'm sorry I could never have such legs. Sigh.
Johnson was fantastic as well. I just love her to bits! Every bit! =D Gee I sound desperate. And that sounds so wrong. LOL. Anyways, she's just a wonder to watch and even though Liukin beat her today, she's still my number one gymnast! =D Plus Cheng Fei *grins*
Yang Yilin was good today. But her floor exercise were a little disappointing. I don't know what happen but she did a hell of a good job. No step-outs, no mistakes, CLEAN. But the judges only awarded her a 15.000 while both Liukin and Johnson had 15.525 (they were both unstoppable though). Then again, China should be very very proud.

Tell me that isn't pretty. I wished i could split in the air as well =( And those legs...CHOP THEM OFF!!!
I love Shawn Johnson!!!!

I Did It
Anyway, I managed to drive alone today (hence the title). It is a great feat, at least to me. It's actually my 2nd time, the first being on Tuesday. The first was definitely nerve-racking. This was much better. Now don't give me that look! It's probably an easy-peasy thing to most people, but damn, a manual car AND a non-power steering one ain't easy-peasy at all. I remember driving that horrible vegetable kancil during my driving lessons and they made my back ache. LOL My cousin bro insisted that I drive him around Chulia Street and into Carnarvon Street. He decided that he shall not ever, ever, ever again hop into my car. Serves him right for complaining so much.
China's Yang Wei from the artistic gymnastics won a gold medal today for the all-round individual event. Lovely. Absolutely lovely. PERIOD.
ps: Anybody wants me to drive them? Are you still up for it, kar how? LOL

Fantastic 6!

China's performance was exceptional! Absolutely breathtaking and stunning! A world class act =) First time in Olympic history, can you believe it?! No huge errors, just tiny slips and mistakes (maybe just one horrifying error from Cheng Fei on the beam - she fell) but overall, excellent! And at such a young age (youngest being 16), you really have to give them the credit for performing so well even under the intense pressure. More than half the crowd were Chinese. And yet, they did it so effortlessly that you'd probably think the acrobatic stunts are all a piece of cake.
I've been there, in ballet. That amount of pressure on your shoulders can really kill if you can't handle it. The greater the pressure, the more mistakes you tend to make, and more and more pressure comes on again. Talent. You must have it.
Anyways, I just finished watching the women's artistic gymnastics final and I absolutely loved it. I liked the guys too. And it went to China again! Another first time in history =)
I particularly favoured Shawn Johnson from the US (women's). She is just a wonderful talent to watch. The others looked a bit cocky, no offense but yeah. And Alicia Sacromone couldn't get a grip on herself after 2 errors, one on the beam and the other on the floor. A silver is good. Very good actually.
And it was a pretty close chase for the bronze medal. Russia and Romania. Russia made too many mistakes. Very significant ones. I like Stellania Nistor for Romania =) Another great talent =)
I love all the 6 from China. Very humble. Very talented. And whata great display of art! =)
Wo She Zhong Guo Ren!!!! =DDD

Weirdly Weirdish Weird!
I've actually had a couple of really weird and funny dreams in the past and everytime I tell them about it (i.e. Cat, Mei, EC etc etc), they'd just laugh their heads off and call me an idiot for it. I remember once I had a dream about Raymond Lam "Lam Fung" and Moses Chan "Chan Hou" (definitely two of my favourite TVB actors of all time!). They were both fighting over me! LOL Yeah, laugh all you want but hey, I woke up with a smile =D Ok, maybe I acted like a bitch in my own dream but heck, it felt exceptionally good to have two hot guys that you really adore going after you. LOL.
Nevermind the past, back to my current silly little dream....
*drums roll*
TADAAA!!!
I got married! LOL.....LOL
I could'nt exactly see his face, it was really vague, but I think he actually looks really good. I mean you know, tall and fit and he wasn't Chinese. Caucasian I think? *slurps* LOL
When he first popped the question (sounds so Hollywood movie LOL), I didn't immediately said yes (but of course) but when he started with all his smoochie-smoochie stuff, which I am not disclosing in here (NO WAY), I just literally melted and died. Instantaneously. My heart just fell out of place.
Then the next thing was, I was in my wedding gown, which was in this beautiful pastel green that I really liked. And the aisle and all. It was amazingly extraordinary and really, really, really beautiful. I mean who wouldn't feel like they're on top of the world really? You're marrying the very person whom you know loves you so much and maybe even more than you love him. LOL
And then,
I woke up, felt like pee-ing. DAMN. It was I think, 530am. So I went to the toilet and was trying to recall the whole dream. Then, I went back to sleep.
And it continues!! ^__^
My husband somehow just disappeared in this continuation of the dream. And guess who came out? You wouldn't believe it. It must be too much of Olympics. Too much of badminton. LOL Of all the cute guys in the Olympics that I could've have, it was none other than...Lee Chong Wei???!!!!! OMG. Shoot me in the head. NO. I WAS NOT IN LOVE WITH HIM. AND AM NOT.
Somehow, I was back in school, still married. Weird, but yes. So basically, I was a 20 year old, married to a pretty hot husband, but still stuck in form 5?? Yeah. And then, the whole national badminton team came along to our school (CLS LOL). And the girls were all going ga-ga (god knows who they were going gaga over considering the fact that they were all uncles). Then my teacher asked who wanted to volunteer to get some papers signed by the team, and everybody yelled my name (because I was a newlywed). So I went up and Lee Chong Wei wanted to take a pic with me! *jaw drops* You could tell the girls were aiming their weapons at me.
Then my alarm rang. And I woke up. I didn't know what to make out of my 2nd dream. LOL
Seriously, it could've been better if it was Michael Phelps rather than Lee Chong Wei?! =S
I better get going. Artistic gymnastics is waiting for me! WHoooo hoooOO!! =D

Ready...Go!
It has been almost 3 months since one of the biggest disaster in the world strike China. And a much worthy applause to them for the fast recovery and now, bringing us the much awaited Olympic Games 2008 =)
It's somehow rather ironic that I do actually like sports when it comes to watching them being played live when I'm not even an active person at all. Beats me why LOL
Olympic Olympic!! Malaysia Boleh? (question mark)

Hollywood in IMU
The Indian uncle was just being plain nice. Khine and Michelle had him (Khine's being a smarty pants LOL). And then, next in line was supposed to be me and Lip Jeen and we were both so worried and anxious that we might get Lina. Thank god, it wasn't her. Oh my god, she was crying when Lip Jeen delivered the news to her. Seriously, these people...And then, it was my turn. I knew it! I got scenario 4, which means I have to tell her that she is HIV +ve. She wasn't taking it seriously at all! And when she kept touching my hands, I couldn't stop laughing. So did the rest of the class. LOL Too bad I'm straight, otherwise....XD
The funniest of all was Soo Han's turn. Indeed, he got Lina. The drama queen. She came in, and called herself Lola. Ok. That was just the beginning of it.
Soo Han: So how should I address you?
Lola: Call me Lola. What about you? (add in the seducing voice)
Soo Han: Oh I'm Soo Han
Lola: Soo Han? Soo Han Soo Han..So difficult to remember lah. Like Dr. Robert, Robert Robert so easy to remember. Nevermind lah, I call you Simon (all burst out laughing). Ok ah, Simon? Simon nice lah!!!
Soo Han: Ah, er, erm......
Lola: Okla, Simon lah. Aiyah, easier ma...
Then bla bla bla..(not so interesting facts)
Soo Han: So, why have you come in today? (or something like that)
Lola: I have fever lor, soar throat, and ah, I lost weight ah! Can you see, see, see all my bones here? So obvious hor! You looking or not?! See where I point?!
Soo Han: ahhh yaya, looking, looking..
Lola: Eh, but ah, they say like that very sexy ohhh..sexy ah? sexy or not Simon? (Hooi Hooi was laughing mad)
Soo Han: Ya ya, sexy (LOL)
And then later, she was scolding Soo Han cos he kept stammering (cos she was making us laugh too much!) and said he isn't as good as Dr. Robert or something lah.
Lola: Why you moving away from me? You scared of me is it? Aiyah! Dr. Robert also not like that! I move closer to him, he move more closer to me summore! Aiyer, so cute la he! So handsome! Eh eh, you got one mole here! (points to Soo Han's mole) Aiyer, so cute la! (giggles) U'd be more sexy if you were a girl LOL. (Soo Han stammering again) Why you so like that wan?! Where's Dr. Robert?! He got other patients is it?
Soo Han: Ahh, yaya. But he's very EAGER to see you also la
(LOL)
Then, so on and so forth. Couldn't remember all the other details but these were the really funny ones. We couldn't stop laughing for at least 5 minutes. Hooi Hooi's turn was next. Hers was really funny too but not as memorable as Soo Han's of course. Damn silly.
So, that wraps up our rotation postings! Finally done with it =) 3 weeks of holidays, here I come! Whoo hoooo! =D
People People People!
I met two really weird people that pissed me off today. One was next to me, sitting at Gate 33, waiting to board Firefly back to Penang. And it's a she. Sad to say yes, she just destroyed the very essence that built the foundation of feminity. OK, maybe I exaggerated a little. But still, she's a total bitch. I wanted to go to the bathroom, 5 minutes before boarding time. I had two bags with me, one was my laptop bag, so I had to back carry it, the other was a hand luggage. And since I obviously could not pee while holding to my hand carry and both the laptop bag, I decided to ask her if she could keep an eye on my hand carry. I asked in a really polite manner ok (even more so than with my parents damn it). Guess what, she just turned around, glanced at me, nod her head once, and turned back to continue reading her book. I was like WTF???!! She so unwillingly agreed! Argh, whatever lah! Since I really had to pee, so I guess I sincerely do need her unwillingly-given help.
The next weird person I met today was on the plane. This old, Chinese uncle sat next to me. Before the plane took off (it was still on the runway), he switched on the lights on top of him cos he wanted to read his newspaper. I was sitting really still, wasn't at all fidgety. Then just before it finally took off, he switched off his lights, and turned on mine for me cos I was taking a novel out to read. I was of course feeling all grateful and was all smiley at him, and said "ahhh, thank you uncle". And guess what he did, he turned to me, gave me a blank stare, and turned back to face the window. ????!!!!!! Not even a "you're welcome" or "no prob" ??!!! GEeeee...people have no manners at all! What did their parents teach them? Damn it.
So I thought to myself, whatever lah. And that bitch had to sit on my left. GRRRRR!! I'm just glad I'm brought up well (or at least I'd like to think so of myself).
Anyways, I gave it some thought. And realized that it has given me much more heartache than happiness. So maybe, i should just let it go and let it be. If it ever does happen, I'm sure it will. And if it doesn't, then I know that mine is still out there somewhere. Eventually. ..

If I Told You
As human as we all are, we're always prone to regret the mistakes that we made, the things that we said, the things that we did. And even those that we did not say, and those we did not do.
I'm only human.
And I'm here thinking,
If I had told you then,
What would things be like now?
It all remains a thought, only to be pondered upon.
Sigh.
Ordinary day
On to a happier note, my manual-car-driving-skills is getting a little bit better and maybe it isn't that impossible lah. I just like making a big fuss out of things. And no, I'm still not talking to my dad. I'll just wait till he shows a little bit of remorse. HAHA. Right, "anak derhaka". Tell me bout it. Patience is a virtue =) At the end of the day, mum's still the best (sorry lah, a bit sexist here LOL). Always patient, always supportive, never negative (dad should not read this post).
Ahhh!! And I failed to meet up with Hui Li before she left yesterday =( Booohooo to me. Why didn't we spend a little more time together while she was still here? But don't you see how time flies? She's been back here for a year already. Then again, look at the amount of time we managed to spend with each other. Sigh. Blame it on bad timing. And partly, my busy schedule too. Sobs. I miss you Li! Come home again soon! And I will keep at my promise of spending 80% of my time with you the next year you're back. Love you till death do us part!!! *hugs*
You know what they say about how you'd only know a person truly when you start living with them? That is so correct. I'm no amateur at this. And I've witnessed first hand what it means. So true =)
Anyways (I seem to like "anyways"), I need to rejuvenate myself a little before the start of tomorrow. Yawns. Patho lab. Should've skipped it. Damn. I know I haven't update on my performance yet. Soon, when the pics come in.
ps: Good luck MZ for your exam =)

Tired....
So, for the past few days, I've been at my piano for at least half a day. Why you may ask? Thanks to my "leng lui" Teacher Jasmin (who really isn't very old just so you know...to those who know her LOL and she really should thank me for this publicity), her neverending-last-minute-preparation-for-performances, there's one coming up tomorrow morning. Yawns, it's 8am. Shoot me. And because i like slow songs i.e ballads and all, she chose "Boogie Wonderland" for me and Han Yin. I hate that song since like forever! "boogie wonderla-and" GRRR! And mind you, we learnt the whole 5page-score in only 3 hours, and were only given a day to perfect it. See it? PERFECT it. That's Jasmin. And like I said in my Cbox, my whole skin just peeled off (it hurts, you idiot!) on my index finger, while gliding down. Sigh. I've got to use my finger nails then *rolls eyes*.
I remember the last time I drove a manual car was 2 years ago, while attending driving school and taking the driving exam. After that, I totally retired from such cars and drove only my mum's auto car (besides, it looks hot in red LOL..people notice me=) So when my dad took me out and asked me to drive my cousin's manual kancil (obviously I hated it), it was disastrous. Engine died off thrice in Gurney Drive (!!!!!), I don't know when I should change the gear and bla bla bla. Right, call me a loser. Whatever. It's the 21st century! Who wants a manual car anyway. Blah. So my dad was yelling at me and made me panic everytime i was stuck and I've finally come to the conclusion that I will not ask him to drive with me forever and ever (plus, I haven't spoken a word to him since). But but but, mum took me out today in that dumbass car and I managed to drive from giant to my aunt's. Now that's an achievement =D
Anyways, I'm going back to KL this monday and then, coming back again this coming thursday for another 3 weeks of holidays. Yay! Drums and guitar =) Will update again some time soon.
Ps: Whoever it was that played a prank on me and kar how and made us misunderstood andrew for it, you wait.
