mother's day in advance

The past one week was great as well. Classes for endo system ended on wed, which means I managed to sneak back to my lovey dovey home!! =) Caught up with so much of tv and my favourtie programmes, met up with Jasmin cause she wanted to show me that wonderful place of hers =) I am so looking forward to it.

Another main purpose of going back was to celebrate mother's day in advance with mum for I won't be celebrating it this year with her. sobs. First time. I made her a photo frame with me and her in it of course. teehee. And just so coincidental that while we were having our buffet dinner at Revolving, cat, kg and pei were there too! Haven't seen pei in ages already! Oh my god, the ice-cream was absolutely fantastic. Haven't indulge myself like this for a long long time. Such satisfaction! =D

And in the end, I wasn't very fond of the idea of coming back to kl again. As usual. Hate it. What with Dr. Francis Achike as my pbl faci. Ain't very encouraging. But he said I had a beautiful name. HAHA. So much for those who love calling me bobo, meibolou, meibo, or whatever.

Lip Jin called me last night by the way. All the way from Tasmania. So wasn't expecting it! Haven't seen him in ages already! Since A-levels ended, since I came here, since he left for Tasmania. WOW. Although he had to send me a not so pleasant comment on fb first before doing so. But LOL. He made me realize that I'm already really lucky to be here near home, while so many other ppl are overseas and alone. It really gets to you esp when you're sick out there. Sigh. I always thought maybe it was a blessing in disguise. HMmm..

Anyways, abit sad that tmr's a public holiday and that mum and dad isn't here. =( At least I'm going over to Sooi's place. Not that bad. Gets me through the day happier =)

IMU ball '08

After months and weeks of michelle bugging me, I finally decided that i should really go for the IMU ball. In fact, i knew i would go in the end. Its just that i needed a little more persuasion and all that mushy mushy words of "it wouldn't be fun without you mabel!!" LOL. Yeah, i can already hear the word "bitch" from mich's mouth, plus the rolling of eyes and all. teehee =) It could've been slightly more memorable, cos it felt as if it was a really brief gathering in which everyone was dressed to the nines and just out of the ordinary shirt and tie, slacks and skirts and blouses and all of those formal wear to which we were so accustomed to already in uni. And not forgetting the cam-whoring sessions and the battle of who has the most pictures.

Came back at 230am, mum waited up for me..aww!! i love you mum! Cleaned the makeup. Oh my god, it was so hard to take it off like i had a permanent marker pen drawn onto my eyes. Didn't even bothered to wash my hair, which was soaked in gel and glittery jittery dusts. Jumped into bed, and goodnight.

ps: I did wash my bed sheet the next morning LOL

Totally had a blast over the wkend. A little not so pleasant that my celine dion dream didnt exactly turn out, but thanks guys for the thought. REALLY. It's really all that matters. To those who were a part of it, u know who u are..I LOVE YOU!!!! =D ps: my every year birthday present still stands KH =)

Anyways, I slept over at Sooi's place which was really really great cos i had Wah Lai Toi to cheer me up!! *grins* i miss my astro =( And that girl *shakes head* we bought back half a duck for dinner!! oh my god, it was nothing but an eating spree for the past two days! We had that for dinner ( we were almost dead by the end of it ), tau sar pneah for supper, and AGAIN, that same duck porridge we couldnt finish during dinner. Yup, all in one day. That guiltiness just sweeps over me everytime i take a bite, with mum's words "dont eat so much d loh, later ur prom dress cant fit u then sei.." OOPS..LOL Then breakfast was egg tarts, lunch at sg wang ws wan than me with fried carrot cake, and dinner was exceptionally bizzarely filling as well. I wouldnt be surprise if my ass gets any bigger anytime soon =(

Mum's down here already. She's at her seminar now. Cant wait to see her back tonight!! =D

I'll Be Remembering You

The weekend has been, i must say, one of the more memorable ones without mum and dad by my side ever since the whole kl ordeal started. Sooi picked me up on thurs after lectures supposedly to go pasar malam at her place, but it turned out to be raining and all, so we didnt manage to. Instead, picked up some black pepper duck from sri petaling (i have never seen that shop in my entire stay here until Sooi pointed it out to me LOL) and brought it back to her place at OUG to eat! AAHHH!! How i love her place!! =) i wished she would've come down to kl much earlier, so i could've bunked in with her =( *sigh*

Anyways, Sat was spent shopping with Fen at Pavillion, Times Square (met Mei Yin), and Sg Wang. I came back with blisters on my foot thank you. arghh. The agony. I was supposed to buy myself a dinner bag and shoes for the prom but it so happened that i bought a loaf bread from bread story instead. THAT WAS ALL. Sun was great as well. Met up with the CLS gang at KLCC. my dearest Hui Li, ET, Mel, Cheryl and Genie =) Would've been better with cat, kg, blian etc. OMG we just couldnt stop talking bout DOPEY. Blian would love this. LOL Sooi picked me up again for dinner that evening. Honestly, she's prob the best thing that has ever happened to me apart from Fen, ever since i came down to KL. She should've been here earlier. i love you Sooi!!

So, I said i'd talk bout home and the hols here. Bout family. Friends and all.

CNY wasnt all that great. EOS was so perfectly scheduled that it had to fall in the midst of the celebration. Like WOW. However however, i still did manage to have that teeny weeny bit of fun with my family and friends as well, although i looked like an idiot bringing my books along. BITCH. Anyways, here they are. Spent the next week of hols doing my hospital attachment. Loved the kids at paeds ward to bits =) I honestly think i might just specialize into paediatrics if not for KH's words ringing in my ears " aiyer, but there're so many ppl who wants to be paeds now" thank you KH.

There goes the holidays. Here comes reality crashing into my face. Missing mum so much right now. For the first time, im not goin back home until the end of the month.
