A Little More

Mich's visit here was so much of fun! We were both looking forward to it for such a long time and it finally came true =) Even getting the hotels for her parents were exciting! and i swear i couldn't sleep the night before. I mean seriously, it feels like Edward's coming to town and i'm getting all restless and excited and all those palpitations (gasp!) and those fluttering heart sounds! LOL Of course we're both straight (like duh) but ive been missing her so much since the end of our bukit jalil days and now we can finally, properly, catch up with each other!

Day 1: I took her for chee cheong fun (pg's version. kl's suck) and naturally, she loved it. Who wouldn't? Steamboat for dinner was great. My favourite place for a steamboat like since forever! And i'm glad she and her parents loved it =) We were supposed to have supper after that, but uhm..nevermind. And since we were bloated, we decided to head home and watch some tv. Mulan!! LOL =D Funny how we both really love mulan and never get tired of it even though it was like the 100001th time we were watching it on Disney.

Day 2: Dim sum in the morning! I have this picture of her at the dim sum place but she already killed me for it for posting it up on facebook, so i shall reserve them here. Go check my facebook!!!! ahaha! And then, Gossip Girl came into the picture. More like it came into my life. Mich brought this whole stack of GG Season 1 to watch with me and yeah, i'm like some GG addict now. Tsk! How am i supposed to catch up with it once im in seremban??!!! GG reviews and updates in the next post (this is supposed to be about the trip).

And then of course one would have to have a laksa in penang =) and pancake! (ban/man chang kuih in hokkien)..yummy!! Then headed off to buy mich's shoes in Prangin mall (she bought TWO, that woman!) and then tonnes of DVDs!! (twilight isn't out yet sobs) and she bought GG season 2. Great. I just hate how much i love GG. GRRrrr..

We drove to EnO Hotel after that. The back of the hotel has this absurdly beautiful scenery. The sea front, the wonderful garden and the hotel itself looks exceptionally pretty with its colonial looks and really antique furnishings. Love it to bits. Both our weddings will be there. Definitely.

What's a Valentine's day without a date right. Whoever says that it has to be the opposite sex? And never in my 20 years here on earth have i thought that it was really such a special day. I mean sure, it is some occasion. I just never thought it is that huge that all restaurants or any other dining places were gonna be fully booked! Poor mummy had to call each and every restaurant we could think of to try and get a place for us both. So we finally got Mizi's and it was definitely one night to remember (aherm, mich??). There were this 2 really good looking white guys just next to our table, and they kept looking at us (of course its only mich) the moment we entered the restaurant. Sigh. Melting so much!! ♥ ♥ ♥

Wanted to go gurney after that for a walk but traffic was really slow there (more like stagnant). So we went to marina's. Great, great view too. Then we spent the whole night, plus morning, watching GG =D LOL

Day 3: Had brunch at Carnation bak kut teh at Gurney. Oh, i forgot to mention GG in the morning (again!). It is insane. Totally.

3 days just flew by. Sent mich off and here i am, alone again. Sigh.

Depression is setting in already. I hate to count the number of days left to the end of freedom, to the end of my fantastic time at home. I hate to even think of it. I know i don't really have much of a choice. I just hope i could have a little bit more of time here. Just a little more...
